All services PRINT & LOCAL MARKETING

Make your business impossible to miss around here.

Not every customer is waiting to discover you in their feed.

Sometimes the right opportunity arrives in the mailbox, appears on a storefront, sits on a counter, shows up at an event, or gets passed from one person to another.

We create print and local marketing that gets your business seen, remembered, and acted on.

MARKETING PEOPLE CAN HOLD

Digital moves fast. Print gives people something to remember.

A brochure can explain what someone was too busy to ask.

A mailer can introduce your business to an entire neighborhood.

A sign can turn everyday foot traffic into awareness.

A well-designed leave-behind can keep your business in the room after the conversation ends.

Print still works because people still live, shop, work, drive, attend events, check their mail, and make decisions in the real world.

But printing something is not automatically a strategy.

The message, audience, design, placement, quantity, timing, offer, and next step all matter.

We make those decisions before the file goes to print.

Print is not outdated.

Forgettable print is.

LOCAL MARKETING

The people closest to your business should know your name.

Local visibility is built through repeated, recognizable interactions.

Someone sees your sign.

Later, they notice your vehicle.

A neighbor recommends you.

Then your mailer arrives.

When they finally need the service, your business already feels familiar.

That recognition does not happen because of one flyer.

It happens when your brand shows up consistently in the places your community already pays attention to.

We help connect those moments.

Your print materials, local campaigns, website, Google presence, social media, events, partnerships, and reputation should reinforce the same business.

Because local marketing is strongest when offline attention leads naturally to online trust and real action.

WHAT WE CAN CREATE

From the mailbox to Main Street.

Direct Mail Campaigns

We plan and design postcards, letters, self-mailers, oversized mail pieces, and other direct mail campaigns.

This can include audience strategy, campaign messaging, offer development, design, print coordination, mailing preparation, and a clear way to respond.

EDDM Campaigns

Every Door Direct Mail can help businesses reach selected postal routes without purchasing a traditional mailing list.

We can help evaluate whether EDDM fits the goal, select campaign areas, organize the message, design the mail piece, and prepare the files according to current mailing requirements.

EDDM is not the right choice for every campaign. We will be honest when a more targeted approach makes better sense.

Postcards & Mailers

Promotions, seasonal reminders, grand openings, service introductions, event announcements, customer reactivation, and neighborhood campaigns designed to earn attention quickly.

Brochures & Rack Cards

Clear, organized materials that explain your business, services, programs, products, or visitor experience without overwhelming the reader.

Business Cards

A small piece with a big job.

We design business cards that feel connected to the brand and give people the information they actually need after meeting you.

Sales & Presentation Materials

Folders, one-sheets, service sheets, proposals, presentation leave-behinds, capability statements, and other materials that support sales conversations and professional relationships.

Menus, Guides & Programs

Menus, visitor guides, event programs, price lists, schedules, directories, and other information-heavy materials designed to be attractive, readable, and easy to use.

Signage

Storefront signs, window graphics, lawn signs, directional signs, banners, event signage, trade show displays, interior signs, and promotional displays.

We design for the viewing distance, environment, material, production method, and amount of time someone will have to understand the message.

Vehicle Graphics

Vehicle lettering, magnets, decals, and wrap concepts that help businesses build recognition while working throughout the community.

Event & Community Marketing

We create the campaign materials needed to promote and support local events, grand openings, fundraisers, pop-ups, trade shows, seasonal programs, and community initiatives.

This may include invitations, posters, signage, programs, social graphics, sponsor materials, advertisements, and follow-up content.

Promotional Materials

Branded merchandise, giveaway concepts, event items, packaging inserts, stickers, and customer materials selected with a clear purpose.

We help you avoid ordering boxes of promotional products no one actually wants.

Print Advertising

Newspaper, magazine, program, directory, and community publication advertisements designed around the available space, audience, message, and action.

Print Coordination

When included in the scope, we can help communicate with printers, review specifications, prepare production-ready files, evaluate proofs, and coordinate quantities, materials, finishes, and delivery requirements.

DIRECT MAIL WITH DIRECTION

A mailbox is a channel. Not a guarantee.

Direct mail can be powerful, especially for local businesses serving a specific area.

But sending more pieces does not automatically create a stronger campaign.

The audience needs to make sense. The offer needs to matter. The design needs to earn attention. The message needs to be understood quickly. And the recipient needs an easy next step.

Before creating a campaign, we consider:

  • Who should receive it?
  • Why should they care now?
  • What problem or opportunity does the message address?
  • Is the offer strong enough to create action?
  • What should the recipient do next?
  • Can the response be tracked?
  • Does the website support the promise made in the mailer?
  • Should the campaign be repeated?
  • Does targeted mail or EDDM make more sense?

A beautiful postcard cannot rescue an irrelevant offer.

Strategy still comes first.

DESIGNED FOR THE REAL WORLD

The design needs to work where people will actually see it.

A brochure held in someone’s hands is not the same as a billboard viewed from a moving car.

A storefront sign is not a social media graphic made larger.

A postcard has only a few seconds to earn attention before it reaches the recycling bin.

Print design needs to consider:

  • Physical size
  • Viewing distance
  • Reading time
  • Paper and material
  • Lighting and placement
  • Folding and finishing
  • Mailing requirements
  • Production limitations
  • Durability
  • Accessibility and readability
  • How the final piece will be distributed

We design for the finished experience, not only for how the artwork looks on a computer screen.

If it cannot be read, held, mailed, installed, or produced correctly, it is not finished.

ONLINE MEETS OFFLINE

The printed piece should not be the end of the journey.

A mailer may introduce the business.

The website confirms whether it feels credible.

A sign creates recognition.

Google helps the customer find directions, hours, photos, and reviews.

An event starts a conversation.

Email and social media help continue it.

We create local campaigns with the complete journey in mind.

Depending on the campaign, we may connect printed materials to:

  • A dedicated landing page
  • A contact form
  • A phone number
  • A QR code
  • An appointment page
  • A promotional code
  • An event registration page
  • A Google Business Profile
  • Social media content
  • Email follow-up
  • In-store or in-person action

A QR code should not be added simply because there is an empty corner.

It should give the customer something worth scanning.

FOR LOCAL BUSINESSES

Built for businesses that depend on real communities.

Print and local marketing can support:

  • Home service companies
  • Contractors and trades
  • Retail stores
  • Restaurants and hospitality businesses
  • Museums and cultural organizations
  • Professional service providers
  • Real estate teams
  • Medical and wellness practices
  • Schools and community programs
  • Nonprofits
  • Product-based businesses
  • Events and attractions
  • New businesses and grand openings
  • Established businesses entering new service areas

The right materials depend on where your customers are, how they make decisions, and what your business needs them to do.

LOCAL CAMPAIGNS

One piece can help. A connected campaign can travel further.

A strong local campaign may include several coordinated touchpoints.

For example, a grand opening could combine:

  • A neighborhood mailer
  • Storefront and directional signage
  • Local publication advertising
  • Event invitations
  • Social media content
  • Community partnerships
  • A landing page
  • Email promotion
  • Photography or video from the event
  • A follow-up offer

Every business does not need every item.

We select the pieces based on the audience, goal, budget, timing, and likelihood that they will strengthen the result.

More materials are not automatically better.

More connected materials are.

IS YOUR PRINT DOING ENOUGH?

A stack of materials is not the same as a local presence.

Your business may need stronger print or local marketing if:

  • Your materials no longer reflect the quality of the business
  • Every brochure, sign, and flyer looks like a different company
  • You depend on local customers but rarely market by location
  • Your team keeps recreating materials from scratch
  • Printed pieces contain too much information and no clear action
  • Your signage is difficult to read or understand
  • You attend events without a follow-up plan
  • You order promotional items without knowing how they will be used
  • You are opening a location or entering a new service area
  • Your mail campaigns cannot be connected to inquiries or sales
  • Your printed materials send people to an outdated website
  • Your community knows what you do, but not everything you offer

Print should not exist only because the business has always had a brochure.

It should support a real conversation, decision, or action.

OUR PROCESS

Plan it. Design it. Produce it correctly. Put it to work.

01

Discover

We learn about the business, audience, location, campaign goal, offer, brand, budget, timing, distribution, and what the finished material needs to accomplish.

02

Recommend

We help determine the right format, quantity, message, campaign area, materials, distribution method, and supporting channels.

03

Write & Design

We create the copy and visual direction around the environment where the material will be seen and the action it needs to generate.

04

Prepare

We prepare production-ready files according to the specifications provided by the selected printer, mail partner, publication, fabricator, or vendor.

05

Review & Produce

When production coordination is included, we review relevant proofs, confirm specifications, and communicate with the vendor before final production.

06

Distribute & Activate

The materials are mailed, installed, distributed, displayed, or used as part of the larger campaign.

07

Evaluate

When tracking is available, we review responses, inquiries, redemptions, scans, website actions, or other signals to improve future campaigns.

PRINTING & PRODUCTION

Good design still needs the right production decisions.

Paper weight, coating, finish, size, fold, material, quantity, color setup, mailing requirements, installation, and turnaround time can affect both the result and the budget.

We help make those choices with the intended use in mind.

The most expensive option is not always the best one.

And the cheapest print price can become expensive when the material feels wrong, arrives late, cannot be mailed, or needs to be produced again.

When Sassy coordinates production, printing and vendor costs are identified separately from the creative service unless stated otherwise in the proposal.

Final timelines depend on design approval, vendor availability, material availability, shipping, mailing, installation, and production requirements.

MEASUREMENT

Print can be measured. But only if we plan for it.

Not every offline interaction can be traced perfectly.

Someone may keep a postcard for three months, see the business several times, hear a recommendation, and then search for the company by name.

That does not mean measurement should be ignored.

Depending on the campaign, we can use:

  • Dedicated landing pages
  • QR codes
  • Call tracking
  • Promotional codes
  • Campaign-specific forms
  • Event registrations
  • Redemption tracking
  • Customer source questions
  • Website traffic changes
  • Branded search changes
  • Geographic response patterns

We look at the available evidence without pretending one scan tells the entire story.

WHY SASSY?

We understand both sides of the screen.

Sassy Square combines branding, design, copy, digital marketing, local knowledge, and real production experience.

We understand how a printed piece needs to look.

But we also understand what should happen after someone reads it.

That means your brochure can match your website. Your mailer can support your campaign. Your event materials can feel like the same brand people follow online. And your local marketing can build recognition instead of creating another disconnected impression.

We are based in Gloucester and understand the value of community visibility, local relationships, seasonal opportunities, and becoming a business people recognize before they need you.

Designed in Gloucester. Made to get around.
Questions, answered

Before it goes to print...

Do you provide printing?

We provide design and can coordinate with professional print and production vendors when that service is included in the project.

Printing, mailing, shipping, installation, media placement, and outside vendor costs are typically quoted separately unless the proposal states otherwise.

Can I use my own printer?

Yes. We can prepare files for your selected printer using the specifications they provide. We recommend choosing the vendor before final file preparation because production requirements can vary.

What is EDDM?

Every Door Direct Mail is a USPS service that allows eligible mail pieces to be delivered to selected postal routes without using a traditional name-and-address mailing list.

It can be useful for some location-based campaigns, but it is not automatically the most efficient option for every audience or offer.

Can you help choose where a mailer should be sent?

Yes. We can help evaluate locations, service areas, customer characteristics, campaign goals, and available mailing options. Final route availability, pricing, and mailing requirements should be confirmed through the appropriate mailing provider.

Can you design one brochure or business card without a complete campaign?

Yes. Individual print materials can be created when that is what the business needs. We will still ask how the piece will be used so the design supports its actual purpose.

Can you redesign materials we already have?

Yes. We can evaluate what should be preserved, updated, reorganized, rewritten, or completely redesigned.

How long does a print project take?

Creative timelines depend on the scope, content, feedback, and number of materials. Production timelines depend on the vendor, quantity, materials, finishes, shipping, mailing, and installation.

We recommend planning early for events, seasonal campaigns, or time-sensitive mailings.

Can you guarantee results from direct mail?

No marketing channel can guarantee a specific response.

Results depend on the audience, offer, timing, message, design, frequency, distribution, reputation, competition, and what happens after the recipient responds.

We can create a stronger campaign, reduce avoidable problems, and build practical ways to evaluate the response.

Do you only work with businesses in Gloucester?

No. We work with businesses in Gloucester, throughout the North Shore, and in other markets.

Local campaigns are adapted to the geography, audience, community, and opportunities relevant to each business.

READY TO SHOW UP AROUND TOWN?

Let’s put your business somewhere people will notice it.

Tell us who you want to reach, where they are, and what you want them to do next.

We will help turn that into a local campaign people can see, hold, remember, and act on.
